The ‘Faulty Towers The Dining Experience’

Why the BBC should cease this trading activity immediately.

I believe ‘Faulty Towers The Dining Experience’ operates under a trade secret agreement for the sale of a ‘Fawlty Towers’ tribute show, monopolising the tribute and performing arts dining market for the sale of the BBC’s ‘ Fawlty Towers’.

A BBC Freedom of Information request reveals a BBC agreement for ‘Faulty Towers The Dining Experience’ to be promoted carefully show the letter to venues” … “and in confidence”, and to not to waive the letter around”. “It should not be flaunted” … “or be discussed with anyone else.”

The BBC will not disclose the BBC authority responsible for ‘Faulty Towers The Dining Experience’, which generates revenues and profits from the sale of ‘Fawlty Towers’. The BBC and its wholly owned commercial subsidiary do not say where the funds are going from this trading since its launch.

For the above reasons, we believe the BBC should cease this trading activity. The BBC is the owner of ‘Fawlty Towers’ and the BBC is responsible for this tribute monopolising the market.

Since its launch, a license has never been advertised for this operation to trade as far as we are aware.

Call to Action:

For the above reasons we are calling on the Government and The Rt Hon Lord Richard Hermer KC, Attorney General to put a stop to this BBC ‘Fawlty Towers’ trading activity.

We hope members of the public will sign our petition.
