Comedy Training, Role-Play & Scriptwriting

All of us here at Laughlines are passionate about delivering skills and improving staff performance through live comedy. We provide bespoke tailored training and development solutions to your individual company requirements. Tailored comedy scripts can be written for each specific client, capturing important information about your products and services, this enhances the event experience for those involved.

Corporate Role-Play

Our Actors are available for all types of corporate work. We can take on any Role-Play situation and write the scripts to tailor it for your subject matter.

Over the past six years Laughlines has been requested by a number of large organisations to offer professional role-play Actors and to produce and write material tailored to their company and subject matter. We have provided the very best actors from television and theatre to do this. We have many satisfied clients including Shell Oil UK. Shell was the first company requiring our professional role-play services where we attended a Senior Managers meeting as Independent Business Consultants and conducted a Project Management Seminar on “How not to do a group presentation” This proved to be so successful that we were requested to do the same again for more senior staff members on several occasions. Laughlines have since been referred by many companies and performed Role-Play for organisations such as the National Health Authority, Danone Dairy Products and the Royal Mail. We work alongside high profile associate training companies such as Brain Storm Training, G-Edge Coaching and Katalyst Training.

Radio Role-Play

This is a unique team-building event where teams are formed to take part in a live comedy play via radio broadcast microphones. Some of the team members will have the opportunity of speaking roles as a particular character in the play whereas others will have the opportunity of creating sound effects.

The participants will work closely with Laughlines professional actors and will be coached and rehearsed by them. Radio Role-Play Actors include; John Tearney (Cold Feet, The Royal, Emmerdale, Byker Grove, Hollyoaks, TV Advertisements, and many theatre roles) Zoie Kennedy (Emmerdale, The Royal ITV – Nominated best newcomer at the National TV Awards 2003) Julie Higginson (Doctors, Emmerdale, BBC Radio) Rodney Paulden (The Two Ronnie’s Fame BBC1). See Actors Profiles for details.

Radio Role-Play works to encourage teamwork in a fun way but also help gain personal confidence while playing the parts, it also helps to improve presentation skills. The comedy plays can be written specifically for your company and tailored to certain subject matter or the play can be chosen from a list provided. Radio Role-Play can be performed anywhere including meeting rooms conference facilities, hotels etc and can be professionally recorded and filmed live for training purposes.
