FAQs

How do I buy a tickets?

We always recommend purchasing in advance to avoid disappointment but if there are still tickets available for a screening you will be able to purchase these on the door. There will not be a card machine at the ticket tent so on the door sales will only be payable in cash.

How many can I have in my pitch?

You will be able to purchase tickets in groups of 2 or 4 and will be seated as such. To ensure that social distancing is maintained you must not move from your pre-set positions. Pitches will be assigned on a first come first served                                    basis, according to your ticket type.

Will I be able to share my pitch with other households?

Please only share pitches with those from your own household or your support bubble. The seating will be laid out to allow social distancing from those on other pitches, but you will not be socially distanced from those within your own party or 2 or 4.

How close will the next pitch be to me?

Pitches will be spaced to allow for social distancing to take place between the rows so you can easily walk to and from the facilities.

What are the age restrictions?

Laughlines Ltd has a legal obligation not to admit anyone to films who appears to be under the age required. Please check the classification before booking films to save disappointment. Shows for adults only are for over 18’s.Please take note of the film certification when purchasing tickets. The film certification is strictly enforced at Ticket Check. ID will be required for those patrons who look under the age of the film certification.

Do I need a paper ticket?

All of our ticketing is done electronically so you will not be sent a physical ticket. Laughlines Ltd event staff will be on site to assist you, we are visable in branded event jackets.

Can I bring my own food & drink?

This varies from venue to venue so please make sure you check the specific venue page for your event. The vast majority of our venues are happy for you to bring your own food however some venues do have their own policies regarding alcohol and soft drinks. Food, snacks, soft drinks and a fully stocked bar will be on sale at most events and we recommend bringing cash as not all vendors will take card payments.

Safety

Please note that for your safety we may conduct random bag searches on entry.

What happens if it rains/bad weather?

All of our cinema events are outdoor and will go ahead come rain or shine – we provide free audience ponchos should it rain. Please bear in mind that it can turn cooler as night falls so remember to bring warm clothing/blankets with you.

Are children allowed to attend?

Guests of any age can attend but those under 16 must be accompanied by adult over the over the age of 18. The film certification always applies so please also make sure the film is suitable and of the correct certification. We reserve the rights to refuse entry to anyone under 16 who is unaccompanied or anyone who is under the certification age.

Do young children have to have a ticket?

Any child aged under 3 is free, children aged 3 or over need a valid ticket. Our events staff will check that the film’s certification is of a suitable age for all audience members to see the film. It is advisable to take valid photographic ID.

When can I arrive?

When you book you will be given a time slot, please arrive within this time slot to minimise the time you spend queuing to gain entry into the site. You will be assigned an arrival slot when you purchase your ticket.

What time does the film start?

Film times vary throughout the season depending on when the sun sets and can differ on the night by up to 30 minutes depending on the conditions. The film will never start before sunset and never before the published time listed on our website under the film.

Is seating provided?

Unless you have purchased a VIP ticket, you will need to bring your own blanket or camping chair to sit on. A VIP ticket includes a luxury deckchair in a prime position. Please do not bring large tables in the interests of maintaining social distancing.

Can I bring my dog?

Only registered assistance dogs are allowed at the screenings. No other dogs are allowed at any of our events. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Is on-site parking available?

We will always try to select venues that are either centrally located or have parking. Please read the event pages for venue specific information.

Can I smoke?

Smoking is not allowed within the seating areas for the comfort of our guests. If you do wish to smoke please speak to one of our event staff who will be able to advise further as individual venues have different guidelines.

Will there be toilets at the screenings?

Yes, all of our events have individual toilet facilities, including accessible facilities. These will be sanitised and regularly cleaned. There will be hand sanitiser stations on site.

Will there be any wheelchair access?

Yes all of our sites have wheelchair access, please let us know if you require any additional support onsite.

Can I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable. However, if an event is postponed due to weather that causes a safety concern or any other reason and you are unable to make the rescheduled date, you will be refunded in full.

Should I wear a facemask?

We adhere to strict social distance guidelines. There may be occasions, for example, upon entry where we request that you wear a mask so please do bring one. You may remove the mask while you are seated.

STAYING SAFE

We follow government guidelines and we work hard to ensure we hold an event with safety and audience satisfaction as a priority. A comprehensive risk assessment has been carried out for staffing at our events. We ensure all staff maintain social distancing measures and will have their health monitored prior to, during and after the event. We ensure that all staff are issued with PPE for the task/s they are completing.

Please note, should you experience any COVID-19 symptoms (contact us to arrange a ticket exchange).
