Street parties held to celebrate the Royal Wedding

Street parties took place up and down the United Kingdom last week, in celebration of the Royal Wedding. Fun days, concerts and parties were organised in many areas to celebrate the marriage of Kate and William, with people of all ages having fun.

The pubs in Otley, all 17 of them, changed their name to The Yorkshire Princess for one day in honour of the wedding, as Kate’s family have West Yorkshire connections. A children’s centre in Allerton held a party with donkey rides, face painting and a picnic for families, bringing the whole community together. Children from Holme Wood planted over 60 pansies in red, white and blue near a local shopping parade.

The celebrations, which took part all over the UK, show just how much everyone loves to celebrate a wedding with a day and evening of fun and laughter. There are many ways to celebrate a wedding, but the outcome was the same all over the country; people having fun. Providing wedding entertainment can be a struggle for a bride and groom, trying to ensure that they keep all their guests happy, which is why an increasing number choose themed nights.

A reputable company will provide a themed event of your choice, whatever style so that you can celebrate your special day in style, while relaxing with your guests. A comedy show or a tribute evening will keep all your guests entertained so that you can relax and enjoy your big day, just like Kate and William.
